Di tutti i libri che ho letto quando ero al liceo, uno in particolare mi torna spesso in mente.
Mi riferisco a "L'amico ritrovato" di Fred Uhlmann e in particolare faccio riferimento al passaggio in cui si riflette sulla percezione del dolore causato da una tragedia, in relazione alla dimensione della tragedia stessa.
In pratica l'autore afferma che se proviamo a pensare al genocidio, con i suoi 6 milioni di vittime, pur colpendoci, la cosa è come se ci toccasse di meno rispetto al "piccolo" dramma di un'intera famiglia uccisa, nei campi di sterminio.
Questo dipende dal fatto che 6 milioni di morti sono difficilmente immaginabili, mentre ci immedesimiamo più facilmente con le 4 o 5 vittime di una singola famiglia.
Insomma, una tragedia è più sentita se è più umana.

Ebbene adesso vi invito a verificare se è vera questa cosa andando a vedere il contatore delle vittime sul lavoro di articolo21.it azzerato il primo gennaio (ieri).
