Una strada abbandonata, bambini in attesa dello scuolabus, il traffico incandescente di una zona periferica in pieno "sviluppo" edilizio e commerciale...
Un incidente....
Un SUV finisce proprio nella piazzola dello scuolabus...
tre bambine morte, due mamme...

...ricevo e pubblico questa lettera di Gaia, del Comitato Pendolari di Fiumicino.

1- Alla Thyssen Krupp sono morti 7 operai bruciati da un incendio

2- Alle Vignole (Comune di Fiumicino) sono morti 5 mamme e bambini perché aspettavano un pullman su 40 cm di ciglio erboso/fangoso.

3- Gli operai stavano facendo il loro mestiere

2- Anche i bambini facevano il loro mestiere, andavano a scuola e le loro mamme li accompagnavano

3- La fuoriuscita del liquido infiammabile da una condotta è un pericolo, un evento imprevedibile ma non impossibile in un alto forno.

4- La guida folle di un ragazzotto incosciente in un auto lanciata a tutta velocità è certo un evento imprevedibile ma tutt’altro che impossibile sulle strade italiane

5- I responsabili della Thyssen sono indagati per omicidio volontario, perché hanno rimandato l’adeguamento dell’ impianto antincendio in uno stabilimento in disarmo.

4- Qual è la responsabilità di un Comune di Fiumicino. Ci si è dimenticati di adeguare una vecchia strada di campagna, improvvisamente trasformata in arteria di grande scorrimento per collegare il nuovo mega-centro commerciale sorto in una zona strategica per lo sviluppo del comune di Fiumicino?

Nelle statistiche questo incidente diventerà un evento sanitario e i giornali non ne parleranno mai più.

1- Credo che la vicenda sia assolutamente emblematica della situazione drammatica che il territorio nord del comune di Fiumicino sta vivendo e frutto dell’impatto di strategie di sviluppo edilizio e commerciale abnormi (Parco Leonardo- Parco da Vinci), dissennate e totalmente scollegate da un analogo e adeguato sviluppo delle infrastrutture territoriali.

2- Tutto questo dal nulla e nel nulla della campagna romana e della campagna elettorale per il rinnovo delle Comune

3- Credo che la vicenda sia assolutamente emblematica della politiche del non-sviluppo drammatica del nostro Paese

4- Tutto questo in una campagna italiana e in una campagna elettorale per il rinnovo del Parlamento.

I miei figli frequentano la stessa scuola primaria di Maccarese dove quei bambini non sono mai arrivati, ieri. Anche loro raggiungono la scuola con l’ottimo servizio di pullmann scolastici (un gran servizio – è vero - fiore all’occhiello del Comune di Fiumicino). Perché da molti mesi il pullmann ha cambiato strada? Perché le principali strade di collegamento sono interrotte (collegamento con il comune di Fimicino, collegamento con l’asse Aurelia), i cantieri fermi, i soldi finiti, le strade interrotte.

Vi invito, anche a nome di altre mamme e cittadini di Torrimpietra, Maccarese, Fregene e Le Vignole a venire sul nostro territorio per constatare la situazione critica della zona.

Vi invito perché è quanto sta accadendo in molti Comuni d’Italia.
